To activate the alarm, quickly tap the medical alert button on the phone and you will be answered within seconds by a trained operator ready to provide assistance. The agent will know your name, address, and any specific health conditions or information that you previously entered into your profile. Once an alarm is triggered, OnCall Defender™ sends location updates to the central monitoring station every 10 seconds to help ensure that they always have your most accurate location information.
Personal and medical profile allows you to enter helpful information ahead of time! Upload a photo and enter location notes (floor or apt. # in a building) and medical history. This ensures the police officers or EMT arriving on-site have all of the information you want them to know ahead of time when the medical alert is sent.
False alarm prevention We have zero tolerance for false alarms and give you 15 seconds to cancel an alarm you have accidentally activated. We take this very seriously and so should you! Always remember that OnCall Defender™ Connects through to local authorities and misuse of this product will result in cancellation of your subscription and you may receive a stiff fine.
Auto-Arm option advanced feature allows you to instantly arm the panic alarm just in case you are suddenly entering a situation in which you do not feel comfortable.
Network testing and status alerts you can check OnCall Defender's network connection to the central monitoring station anytime you like to make sure you have coverage by selecting the test function and firing the panic alarm or medical alert. Plus it will also inform the user if the network is not connected.

How It Works

Download the free app from the iTunes store and follow the instructions to set up your user profile and choose your subscription plan. Learn more.

Setting up your profile is key! This is your opportunity to safely enter information about yourself that will help law enforcement and medical assistance respond as efficiently as possible. In your profile you can include emergency contact information and common location details such as the floor and unit # in a building when you are not at home. You can also upload a photo for identification if you like. Plus you can check OnCall Defender’s network connection to the central monitoring station anytime you like to make sure you have coverage by selecting the test function and firing the panic alarm or medical alert.

In the event of an emergency, quickly trigger the alarm and our licensed monitoring station will immediately respond and have the appropriate authorities dispatched to your location. After the alarm has been fired, OnCall Defender™ will track your location every 10 seconds using a triangulated GPS methodology, and the monitoring station will keep first responders informed and up-to-date on your whereabouts.
